A ready dish should announce itself once, precisely, to the one person who needs to act on it. No broadcast, no repetition, no doubt.
LabKOT exists because the loudest part of a restaurant is usually the part that should be the most precise: the moment a dish is ready and someone has to be told. We build the operating layer that carries that moment — from the pass to the floor to the counter — without a single raised voice.
Every restaurant already runs on communication. We make that communication deterministic.
One press in the kitchen, one notification to the assigned waiter. The dish leaves the pass while it is still at its best.
Every signal is recorded, so pickup time, throughput and turnover stop being guesswork and become numbers an owner can act on.
The result is a floor that is calmer to work on and a service that guests experience as effortless.
A category of its own — not point of sale, not accounting, not a printer queue.
A POS records what was sold. Operations intelligence coordinates how service actually happens: who is notified, how fast a ready dish moves, where the floor is slowing down, and which outlet needs attention tonight. We believe every serious restaurant will run on this layer within the decade.
QuiKOT™ is the first product in that category, and it is deliberately physical — a button and a display you can hit with a wet hand in a hot kitchen. From there we extend outwards: the Waiter App, the Billing Software, and a live operations view for owners across every outlet.
Peace Labs began working on LabKOT after watching the same scene repeat in kitchen after kitchen: a dish sitting under the lamp, a chef calling out over the noise, and a waiter three tables away who never heard it. The food was fine. The communication was not. Nobody was at fault — the system simply did not exist.
So we built the smallest possible fix first: an industrial red button on the pass, wired to a display, wired to the right waiter's phone. Everything else in LabKOT grew out of that one press — the coordination, the billing handover, and the analytics that finally show owners what happens between the kitchen and the table.
A ready dish should announce itself once, precisely, to the one person who needs to act on it. No broadcast, no repetition, no doubt.
Seconds at the pass become minutes at the table. We optimise the handover between kitchen and floor, because that is where service is won or lost.
Nobody should have to shout to do their job well. Quiet floors are calmer for staff and better for guests.
We will walk you through QuiKOT™, the Waiter App and the Billing Software against your own service flow.
